If you guys keep on checking out the Google’s Website, the Gmail has opened for registration now. But this is only for US users. US users now able to send a SMS to Google and then will get a free >2.5GB Gmail account.

Now, Gmail is open for registration may because of the release of Google Talk beta, which requires gmail account in order to use the software. But one thing to be noticed is that, Gmail has introduced at least 50 invitation for existing customers. After the existing customer send out the invitation, the invitation quota would still remain as 50. Most of the internet users now able to get an account very easily. Now become officially opened for registration, this will not be a big news for internet users.

Moreover, once you send the SMS to Google for Gmail account, you are actually sending your phone number to Google. But as metioned, now users able to get invitation from existing users easily, why do they need to register by sending the SMS? Use google to key “Gmail invitation”, and you will be able to get a Gmail account easily.

No matter what it is. The ultra-large mailbox, “invitation for registration” and advanced label function of Gmail make Google success. “Moving fast”, “Web Presence” and “act cool” may be the 3 key successful factor of web sites.
