Indonesia...?

This is my first time to go to Indonesia. Before I went, I didn't expect too much. After I arrived, the situation is even worse than I expected.

I go with one friend in the morning. Taking ferry from HarbourFront to Indonesia's Batam Center. After I arrived, problem rises.

We thought they know English, but actually is not. We hardly ask the directions. We don't even understand what they are talking. It is feeling even unsafe to stay around the city.

The first lunch in Indonesia is fast food, "All American". It is not so good because of the so-called,"Beer". But its kind of tastes is ... yuck! bad!

For shopping, we just went to few shopping mart. Don't think that shopping mart is as large as that one in Singapore. Indonesia's shopping mart... don't know how to even described in words.

Finally, we bought some coffees, layer cake and some other stuff for the friends in Hong Kong. No doubt that the stuff are quite cheap in Indonesia, but the environment is not so good. I am unable to communicate with them.

For dinner, we finally got something "better". We ate satay, nasi goreng and ice-cream at last. We ate so much and finally got feeling better a little bit.

Overall it is a good experience to know more about other places. It is also good that I found nothing interested in Indonesia. So next time I will suggest my friend don't go there.
